1. Services Offered

Good Food Works provides the following services:

• Meal delivery services featuring authentic Japanese home cooking
• Personal chef services for in-home meal preparation
• Corporate lunch programs for businesses and organizations
• Wellness meal programs for care facilities and health-focused clients

All services are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion.

2. Orders and Reservations

2.1 Placing Orders

Orders can be placed through our website or email. All orders are subject to confirmation by Good Food Works. We will notify you if any items are unavailable or if modifications are necessary.

2.2 Advance Notice

• Regular meal orders: Minimum 24 hours advance notice
• Personal chef services: Minimum 7 days advance notice
• Event catering: Minimum 7 days advance notice

2.3 Order Confirmation

You will receive an order confirmation via email. Please review all details carefully and notify us immediately of any errors and changes needed.

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 Pricing

All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice. Custom quotes for catering and personal chef services are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.

3.2 Payment Terms

• Regular meal orders: Payment due at time of order
• Catering services: 50% deposit required upon booking, balance due 48 hours before event
• Personal chef services: 50% deposit required upon booking, balance due upon completion

3.3 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.

3.4 Additional Charges

Delivery fees, service charges, and applicable taxes will be added to your final bill. Travel fees may apply for personal chef services outside our standard service area.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Personal Chef Service

• Cancellations made at least 3 days (72 hours) before the scheduled service date will receive a full refund
• Cancellations made less than 3 days before the scheduled service date are non-refundable
• We reserve the right to cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund will be provided

Meal Delivery and Other Services

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery or service time
• Late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee
• Refunds for quality issues will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis

5. Food Safety and Allergies

5.1 Allergen Information

We cannot guarantee that our food is completely free from allergens due to potential cross-contamination in our kitchen.

5.2 Food Handling

All food is prepared following ServSafe certified practices and local health regulations. Once food leaves our care, we are not responsible for improper storage or handling.

5.3 Consumption Timeline

We do not include expiration dates on our packaging. To ensure optimal flavor and quality, we strongly recommend consuming meals on the day of delivery. If not consumed immediately, please refrigerate and consume within the next day.

6. Delivery and Pickup

6.1 Delivery Service

Delivery service by Good Food Works is generally not available outside of locations designated by Good Food Works. Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, or other factors beyond our control. We are not liable for delays.

6.2 Pickup Service

Pickup service is only available during times designated by Good Food Works. Orders not picked up at the designated time will be discarded without refund.

6.3 Delivery Address

You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. We are not responsible for orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

7. Personal Chef Services

7.1 Client Responsibilities

When booking personal chef services, you agree to provide:

• A clean, functional kitchen with necessary equipment
• Access to water, electricity, and gas/heat sources
• Adequate workspace and storage
• Safe parking or access to the location

7.2 Ingredient Sourcing

Unless otherwise agreed, we will source all ingredients. Any special requests for specific brands or suppliers may incur additional costs.

7.3 Kitchen Cleanup

Our service includes cleanup of cooking areas and equipment used during meal preparation. We will leave your kitchen in the condition we found it.

8. Liability and Indemnification

8.1 Limitation of Liability

Good Food Works LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or consumption of our food products. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order or service in question.

8.2 Customer Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Good Food Works LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of our services, failure to disclose allergies or dietary restrictions, or improper food storage and handling.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including recipes, photographs, logos, and text, is the property of Good Food Works LLC and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

10. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
